Problem with NeatUpload 1.3.3 multiple file component on MacOS

I recently setup a website using NeatUpload v. 1.3.3. I am using a "Pick files" button to add the files, and then a second button uploads and processes the files.
I am also using an inline Neatupload progressbar to show the status of the upload as well as transfer speed etc.
What happens on Mac is that once the Submit button is pressed, the progress bar will start updating and the upload will stop at like 50% or 73% (not always the same), and then the ETA (estimated time left) will start increasing, like it is not uploading anymore. Then after a while I can see that it is continuously refreshing the page itself (not just the IFRAME for the progress bar).
This happened in both Safari and Firefox on Mac OS. I did not try other browsers.
I tried to disable FLASH (still in Mac OS) in Safari. This time the upload did finish and it seemed to work. The odd thing though was that when I was selecting the files to upload, pressing "Pick files" did not do anything. I had to press something that appeared to be a hidden link under the "Pick files" button to get the file selection dialog.

What version of Safari, Firefox, and Flash are you using? Do you get the same behavior when using the live demo on this site? |

I've been able to reproduce the first problem and it seems to be caused by a bug in the Flash Player for Mac. I'll look into it but might just end up disabling use of Flash on the Mac.
I haven't tried to reproduce the "hidden link" issue yet. |

I can't reproduce the "hidden link" issue using the following combination: NeatUpload-1.3.5/dotnet/app/Brettle.Web.NeatUpload/Demo.aspx (changed to have useFlashIfAvailable="false") Safari 3.1.2 Mac OSX 10.5 IIS7 ASP.NET 3.5 NeatUpload 1.3.5 What versions are you using when you see the problem? Do you see the problem when using the Demo.aspx page (changed to have useFlashIfAvailable="false")? The progress bar issue is fixed as of NeatUpload 1.3.6. |
